Sea Girt Luxury Real Estate Market

The Sea Girt housing market is one of the United States' most expensive areas, with average home listing prices are up over $1 million.  However, many homes do exceed that price point, and sit comfortably in the multi-million dollar range.

Many homes on the Sea Girt market are built featuring seashore colonial traditional styles with bright, vibrant colors. With multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, and ample square footage (sometimes also built on oversized lots), these homes suit a variety of different lifestyles, from families to retirees. The market also features a mix of new construction and older, historic properties, some of which date back to the early 1900s. Neighborhoods in Sea Girt are also known for their gorgeous, tree-lined streets, which are quite picturesque in the summertime.

In regards to waterfront listings, there are very few homes in Sea Girt have this desirable feature. Some of the most exclusive properties are fond right on Sea Girt Beach, however these homes are quite exclusive. While Wreck Pond is the borough's large body of water, there are very few homes in that are waterfront. Properties with water views are more common, but even this is quite rare!

Buyers who tour the area can also find a few condo properties in town, as well. Barbara Lynn, the borough's large condo community, backs onto a forested area and parts of Wreck Pond.

Sea Girt Community Amenities

The community features access to all kinds of watersports (fishing, surfing, boating), upscale shopping, restaurants and recreation. Residents living here can take advantage of Crescent Park, a large forested area which has several tennis courts on the north side. Another feature of the Sea Girt neighborhoods is Wreck Pond at the northern edge of town. The tidal pond separates Sea Grit from Spring Lake and makes for a good walking area to tour. Another great place to go for a stroll is the recently rebuilt boardwalk, which goes up to the Sea Girt lighthouse. As for other amenities, Sea Grit has a library and several professional services.
