Santa will be here before you know it, and with that in mind, here is a breakdown of some of the Jersey Shore Christmas activities in places like Bay Head, Point Pleasant Beach, and others!

Point Pleasant Beach Christmas Tree Lighting

The Point Pleasant Beach Chamber of Commerce has moved its Christmas tree lighting celebration back to the downtown area, and the big celebration will take place on Friday, Nov. 28, at 5:30 p.m. The amazing tree will be in front of Point Beach Interiors. The celebration is scheduled to include attractions such as stiltwalkers and pony rides. In addition, the chamber will also be offering free horse-drawn carriage rides to the public every Sunday between Thanksgiving and Christmas. The carriage rides will be available from noon to 4 p.m. and will pick up and drop off in front of Point Beach Interiors.

Bay Head Christmas Walk

Festivities are from Friday, Dec. 5 to Sunday, Dec. 7. On Friday, Dec. 5, it's Open House at The Shores, then on Saturday, start off with a pancake breakfast (9 am) followed by some serious holiday shopping. Then on Sunday, check out the Live Nativity at St. Paul's United Methodist Church (2:30-5:30 pm).

Jenkinson's Annual Sea of Lights Holiday Festival

This Point Pleasant Beach Christmas tradition is after Santa arrives, running from Boxing Day until Dec. 28 from 6-9 pm. Enjoy a fully decorated Jenkinson’s Aquarium $6 per person entry fee) and then head into Jenkinson’s Pavilion for more fun, including facepainting, arts & crafts, games, and some other surprises.

Spring Lake Christmas Celebration Kick-Off

Get into the Christmas spirit in Spring Lake with hayrides, dancers, holiday snacks, music, and the Clayton Livery Miniature Village, Third Ave., Spring Lake. Free. Call (732) 449-0577.

Bradley Beach Tree Lighting

Get your first glimpse of Jolly Old St. Nick on Nov. 30 at the popular Bradley Beach tree lighting ceremony. Enjoy wagon rides, refreshments, and a visit from Santa himself at Riley Park, Main St., Bradley Beach. Call (732) 776-2999.

Belmar Tree Lighting Festivities

On Dec. 5, head to Belmar for a visit from Santa, some live entertainment, and watch the town Christmas tree come alive with lights. It all takes place at Pyanoe Plaza(Main St. and 9th Ave.), Belmar. Call (732) 681-3700.

Manasquan Tree Lighting & Candy Cane Hunt

A huge favorite for kids, the Manasquan tree lighting event involves plenty of candy canes for children, a holiday food drive, along the amazing tree lighting at Squan Plaza and Business District. For more info. Please call (732) 223-8303.

Lavallette Tree Lighting

Those in and around Lavallette can head to Lavallette School on Dec. 5 for the annual tree lighting and get their photo taken with Santa Claus. Enjoy snacks and music as well. Call (732) 793-7477.
